Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 7 matches throughout the tournament, plus finals — ensuring a full and worthwhile experience for every squad.

Each coach or team manager is required to collect photo ID for every participating player and have copies available for the duration of the tournament. Accepted documents include:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence or Learner's Permit
  • Football Australia ID
  • Birth certificate, plus any one of the following:
    • Student card with photo ID issued by the school
    • A recent school photograph with the name clearly shown
    • Current library card with a photo

Team Managers may submit ID check requests for individual players on opposition teams. All requests must be made through Event Staff — not directly with the opposing team. Please notify event staff before kick-off where possible.

The ID check procedure is as follows:

  1. Approach the nearest event staff member and notify them you wish to formally request an ID check on a specific player. ID checks will not be performed on entire teams.
  2. An official ID Check form must be completed. A $50 admin fee is charged per player. The form is available here or via the website menu.
  3. Once payment is made, event staff will then conduct the ID check with the team in question.
  4. If the player provides all necessary documentation and is confirmed to be the correct age, the $50 fee will not be refunded.
  5. If the player cannot provide the required documentation or is found to be overage, the $50 will be refunded. The player will not be permitted to play if the game has not started, or will be withdrawn from the game.

Digital or printed copies of documents are accepted, provided they are in colour, clear, and legible.

Teams found providing incorrect documentation or deliberately playing overage players will receive a 0–3 loss for any matches those players participated in. Ineligible players will be disqualified from the tournament, and offending teams may be disqualified from this and other affiliated events. This may also affect the participation of other teams from the same club at future events, at the discretion of Tournament Management.
  • 5v5 — maximum 10 players
  • 7v7 — maximum 12 players
  • 9v9 — maximum 14 players
  • 11v11 — maximum 20 players
