New Zealand's premier post-season football tournament — bringing teams from across the North and South Island together for one final weekend of competition before the off-season begins.
Now in its second year, the Cambridge Cup has grown into one of New Zealand's most anticipated post-season events. Hosted by Cambridge FC at John Kerkhof Park over Labour Day Weekend, the tournament brings together clubs and representative teams for one last chance to compete before the season winds down — a proper finale, not just another fixture.
We've listened to feedback from year one: the game guarantee has grown from five matches to six, plus finals, giving every team more football for their trip. Across nine age divisions from 8th to 17th Grade, the format stays simple — three days, six games, one champion — backed by qualified officials, livestreamed matches, real-time results, and a finals day worthy of the occasion.
Organised by SGM, in partnership with Cambridge FC — building on a strong first year to bring New Zealand's football community together, from North to South.
